COVID-19 Policies: As of April 3, 2023, the Oregon Health Authority is lifting the masking requirements for health care providers. Therefore, as of April 3, East West College is no longer requiring masks during massage appointments. EWC will continue to provide masks for individuals who choose to wear them during your massage. Please let your student therapist know if you prefer them to wear a mask during your massage. Additionally, we are no longer requiring COVID-19 screenings prior to your appointment. However, if you are feeling sick, experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days, or have been recently exposed to someone who tested positive, please contact the front desk at (503)233-6500 to reschedule your appointment.
Appointments generally last 65 minutes and include an intake interview, a massage of 45-50 minutes, and an exit interview. After the massage, the client is given the opportunity to provide written feedback to the student as a part of their learning experience.
By Oregon law, students are not allowed to be compensated for massages nor can they receive tips until they are licensed. The fee for the student massage session pays only for its associated costs. All clients must be at least 18 years old.
Please note, a credit card number is required to book appointments. Your card will only be charged upon check-in for your appointment or in the case of a late cancellation or no-show.
If you are late to your appointment we will not be able to guarantee you the full length of your session. Please note that cancellations with less than 24-hour notice and "no-shows" will be subject to a $22.50 fee.
